What is a Holistic Sound Practitioner?
A holistic sound practitioner is a skilled professional who employs sound as a therapeutic tool for overall well-being.
Trained in various sound modalities like gongs, bowls, and voice, they blend ancient traditions with modern neuroscience.
By understanding the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, these practitioners guide individuals through personalised sound experiences, promoting relaxation, healing, and self-discovery.
Holistic sound practitioners create a harmonious environment, leveraging sound vibrations to address physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances, fostering a sense of wholeness and vitality in their clients.
This course is accredited by the Complimentary Medical Association and upon completion you will be able to join the CMA as a member and use the credentials MCMA after your name.

About the Practitioner Disciplines
Our Holistic Sound Practitioner training offers five distinct disciplines, each with unique qualities and therapeutic applications. You may choose one or more as your specialism.
Gong
The gong produces deep, resonant tones that work on physical, emotional, and energetic levels. Its powerful vibrations can induce a meditative state, release tension, and facilitate profound relaxation and energetic clearing. Gong sessions are often used to rebalance the body’s natural rhythms and support emotional release.
Singing Bowls
Metal and crystal singing bowls create harmonic overtones that can calm the mind, soothe the nervous system, and balance the energy centres (chakras). They are particularly effective in meditation, stress reduction, and promoting a sense of inner harmony.
Voice
The human voice is a versatile healing tool capable of transmitting intention and vibration directly. Voice-based sound healing may involve toning, mantra, overtone singing, or intuitive vocalisation to restore balance, release blocked energy, and encourage emotional expression.
Drum
Drumming connects us to the heartbeat of the Earth and can promote grounding, focus, and deep relaxation. The steady rhythms can help synchronise brainwaves, supporting meditative states, emotional release, and connection to inner guidance.
Applied Frequency
Applied frequency involves using specific sound frequencies, often delivered through tuning forks or other instruments, to target areas of the body or energy field. These frequencies can support physical healing, energy clearing, and rebalancing at a cellular level.
